    warm staff
    fabulous food

Couples with taste should definitely consider this place

The staff were warm and made us feel like we were more than just customers. I couldn't believe how fabulous the blue cheese butter was with my steak, it was divine and something I'll never forget.

A bit pricey, but honestly, the experience made it worth it.

    lovely breakfast
    local charm
    excellent dining nearby
    cramped room
    poor mobility support

The breakfast was lovely and filling, and I loved the local charm of the place. Plus, you've got top-notch spots nearby like The Old Stocks Inn and The White Hart for a cheeky pint or a good meal!

Despite paying extra for a 'larger' room, it felt cramped and disorganised. navigating those stairs with mobility issues was a right faff. More attention could've been given to us disabled guests, especially with all the pooches about!

    amazing dining experience
    poor early checkout

Had a delightful stay! The rain shower in our room was heavenly, and the breakfast offerings were fantastic, especially the locally laid eggs. Dinner was equally memorable, with the chicken sandwich being the best I’ve ever had!

    would definitely book again

The bed was king size and super comfy. Our room had a lovely private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The complimentary breakfast had freshly cooked options and tasty local ingredients. The hotel is in a really central spot, perfect for exploring the town and nearby attractions. There’s free parking available too.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in our Standard Double Room. The breakfast was superb with friendly staff ensuring everything was perfect. Don’t miss the bar’s charming atmosphere! A tip, request a room away from adjoining properties for a quieter experience.

Charming stay with fantastic dining experience

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the delicious meals offered, particularly the steak & ale pie that was simply amazing. The location right in the heart of the Cotswolds allowed easy access to explore, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. the door outside my room was quite creaky and disrupted my sleep at times.

we realy enjoyed our stay at the stag at stow. the location is super lovely, right in the heart of the cotswolds and plenty of parking too. the food was amazin, seriously, 10/10 for the steak & ale sharing pie. the staff were really friendly n helpful. We got a complimentary glass of Prosecco for our anniversary which was such a nice surprise!

the room was a bit dusty and the extractor fan was noisy. also, the door outside our room creaked alot and was disturbing late at night.

    cozy atmosphere
    safety issue
    need for handrails

The cozy atmosphere at The Stag At Stow, with charming decor featuring local artwork and a welcoming reception, truly enhanced my stay. The accessible seating areas made it easy for me to socialize comfortably during my visit.

More handrails needed for safety in bathrooms.
